I am passionate about creativity. I love conceptual design and have worked as an Art Director since graduating with a Master’s Degree in Art Direction from The VCU Brandcenter in 2009. I also once thumb-bumped Johnny Depp.
Presenting brands through ideas and distinct design is the heart of my work. Creativity is what makes me tick, and I will never take a creative opportunity for granted. Currently, I am working as a Design and Marketing Specialist at TDC Marketing in downtown Harrisonburg, Virginia. Much of what I do is execute and utilize high quality, frequent output of custom client-owned story-driven content through web, primarily, and print materials. Not to mention, amidst countless of other projects, I have been the lead designer in launching 11 new Squarespace websites, and 2 new Shopify websites since starting at TDC Marketing in May 2022.
My skill set includes:
Unique approach and mindset for optimal branding through original ideas and design. Highly-proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Squarespace. I have a high working knowledge in HTML/CSS, WordPress, and Information Technology, and a working knowledge in Shopify, MailChimp, and Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager. My role in the workplace includes writing, project management, marketing ads implementation, research, and data presentation. I am grateful to have an extremely useful presence with my broad range of capabilities.
